BPD or EUPD is more about Environment Growing Up

BPD is not something wrong with the Brain Physically  BPD is  more  about environment & family of origin when I was a little one and  Learned Behaviour.    This is where our Belief System is/was created.    My BPD diagnosis happened  after Character Defects  have had a chance to play out.   I was in my early 50's when a Psychiatrist informed me of his diagnosis. What a Terrible Label or Diagnosis BPD

What a terrible Label to put on Anyone Boarder Line Personality Disorder I was in my mid fifties when I was first diagnosed with BPD. My first reaction to the label BPD was, No Way!  I can't even imagine how I will be received by People, Places and Things going forward.  Imagine trying to get help at a new doctors or going to emergency when they see that on my file; It was bad enough with the history I already had. All the other labels I had been given in my lifetime, since 1960.   ADHD, Depression, Codependent, Anxiety, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I can't even remember all the labels.  The labels/diagnoses  meant medication/s, treatment centre, counselling,  psychiatrist, group counselling, hospital stays, basically you name it I have tried it. Only to find out that I have a disorder that doesn't respond to medication. The disorder is not a chemical imbalance in the brain. It is a disorder that will require Behaviour Therapy not medication so much. DBT   Di

BPD & EUPD   A person with Borderline Personality Disorder may experience intense bouts of anger, depression, or anxiety that may last only hours or, at most, a few days. These may be associated with episodes of impulsive aggression, self-injury, and drug or alcohol abuse. Distortions in thoughts and sense of self can lead to frequent changes in long-term goals, career plans, jobs, friendships, identity, and values. Sometimes people with BPD view themselves as fundamentally bad or unworthy. They may feel bored, empty, or unfairly misunderstood or mistreated, and they have little idea who they are. Such symptoms are most acute when people with BPD feel isolated or lacking in social support, and they may result in frantic efforts to avoid being alone.
